Art Deco brooch of Catalan origin from the 1930s in silver with imitation aquamarine.

In the 1930s, all the ladies wanted to go in art deco fashion and they would go to jewelry stores with silver and gold coins and make these special brooches by melting the coins and using bottle butts (siphons) that were faceted to simulate an aquamarine. . .

Measures:
Measures approximately 4cm x 3.5cm.
The weight is 10.88 grams.

Composition:
**Silver and gold sights, unmarked, acid tested.
**Similar to aquamarine.
